SCX10 Monster Kitty build

SCX10 Monster Kitty build

Axial SCX10 "Monster Kitty" build

by Steve W.

This is what happens when your little girl comes up to you and ask for her own rig.  Gone are the days when I wake up at 5am in the morning for a race day that last over 12 hours only to be on the track for less than 30 minutes of actually running time.  Now my days of R/C are spent mostly with my two boys, running our Axial SCX10 Jeeps on the rock garden we build in the backyard.  If we feel like a challenge, we head out to the horse trail near by and the combination of hills, mud and rocks makes for a great 1 hour hike with the boys while running our SCX10s.  Time flies and it snuck up on me that my little girl have grown up....and all of sudden I guess from all the years of watching the boys play with their rigs, she said those magical words that makes any dad proud:  "Daddy, can I have my own Jeep?"

So it begins, the Monster Kitty build.

We'll be the first to admit that it is not necessary to throw on all the aluminum pretty pieces to make a solid rig.  The key (and the fun) is to select the pieces that you think will work the best for your performance application or the look you're after.  Our build showcases all our products so you can get an idea what they look like once installed on the vehicle.
