STRC Light Weight Machined Delrin 42T Center Spur Gear
(Note: This is the Ver.2 gear with a thicker teeth profile)

The

top one is stock steel, bottom one is STRC Delrin Spur
Please Note the following precautions when running our Delrin Center Spur:
1) Due to the material and nature of Delrin, this spur gear works best in indoor clay or blue groove type tracks. Tracks with loose dirt/rocks can cause premature damage to the spur gear
2) When running our Delrin Spur, due to the extra thickness, please cover the chassis opening underneath the spur gear. This will prevent dirt from jamming up the spur gear from the bottom. The opening allows for dirt to exit with the steel spur, but due to the extra thickness of our Delrin spur, dirt coming in from the bottom opening will have no place to exit therefore we recommend the opening to be covered up.
3) when attaching the Delrin spur to the diff housing, DO NOT over tighten the 4 flat head screws as this might caused the spur gear to tweak or even stress crack around the screws
4) When driving with the Delrin spur, keep in mind that it's main advantage is light weight, but it does not share the same durability as the heavier stock steel spur.
